American cherry Chippendale tilt top tea table (c. 1775-1800)American Chippendale tilt top tea table with a two board cherry wood top. The top rests on a baluster turned pedestal which is supported by arched tripod legs on pad feet. American, Upper Connecticut Valley, 1775 1800. Condition: The bottom of one leg has been extended to level the tabletop. The surfaces have been cleaned and finished with shellac. Wear commensurate with age and use.
