BOILED BONE DRY CLAY: This texture of the clay on this pot was created using a process we've been developing in which we boil bone dry clay before it goes into the kiln

Its espresso shino glaze just brings a classic look and elegance to a beautiful form

My process will include: hand-throwing the bowl with 8-10 lbs of clay on the pottery wheel

etc to get every finished pot

It's like watching dark ocean waves crash on top of each other

when you catch this pot in the right light

and I couldn't be more pleased

Clay moves in the kiln

It's a perfect XL holiday serving bowl

then beautifully glazed with a midnight blue

it just blankets the person holding it with positive energy

" which is where there is no glaze on the clay
