Maturation is in barrels that have seen one vintage of the Grand Vin. The style of this wine is very much like Lynch Bages itself rather than that of an easy drinking 2nd label. The 2022 Echo is 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc The 2022 Echo de Lynch Bages, aged for 14 months in one year old oak, has a slightly timid nose at first.

aromas are also exceptionally floral with layered nose of red and dark cherry

This is an incredibly structured Hosanna with tannin tension and density

red cherries and mulberries mingled with exotic spices

and the chalky tannins provide the support which will soften over time
