Lilac Mookaite Trillion
Description
Lilac Mookaite TrillionAnother Outback gemstone mined by Glenn Archer. Mostly recognized for it's cardinal red and gold, this newer material has our jaws on the floor! Mookaite is named after the Mookaite region in Australia where it is found. While it is categorized as a Jasper, interestingly enough this material is technically a sedementary radiolarite. Radiolarians are microfossils with a siliceous shell that are part of the zooplankton and live in the first 200 meters
They have a Moh's hardness of 7 which makes them perfect for people who are a little bit harder on their jewelry
evoking the sly grace of a desert fox prowling under moonlit skies
Fun fact: I thought this material reminded me of springtime in AZ and suggested the name to the miner who loved it
but it does have a beauty of its own
protect against negativity

For this reason we had our material fracture sealed with a very low viscosity treatment but the green Variscite is untouched and has no enhancements
