The concept for my Artist residency in Tuscany was based on "A Sense of Place" and how we come to form ideas and experiences in places that are unfamiliar to us

So distracted and hurried and preoccupied we are

the gathering of friends and family and food and the no nonsense approach to living that the Italians seem to pull off with flair and sophistication

There are trees that gather and sway

long meandering walks on dirt roads

The horse was born to gallop and canter among the seashells and treasures
