Ficus religiosa
Description
Ficus religiosaFicus religiosa is native to Southeast parts of Asia. Though you can grow this plant into a full tree, they're also a great plant to bonsai. You can train them to grow a thick trunk by pruning them back rather than letting them grow tall. Care: We recommend watering every 10 12 days during spring through fall. They are deciduous trees so in the winter they may or may not drop leaves to conserve energy, DO NOT toss it, just keep watering it roughly
This plant is known for its highly lobed and dissected foliage as you can see in the second photo
Water when first two inches of soil is dry
They are a cane begonia
We recommend watering roughly every 2 days when the soil starts to dry just a little be
The will eventually put out little flowering structures with miniature orchids at the tips
but read that the blooms tend to smell like burnt matchsticks
This species in particular twists as it grows upwards standing out among other cereus species
and would make for a great terrarium plant
you'll have an array of beautiful colors
This is one of our favorites with the most beautiful variegation and known for being one of the easiest plants to care for
They do not like too much share though
and they're native to Panama
