Coatings on metal fasteners - Specification for organic coatings1 Scope This Part of BS 7371 specifies requirements for organic coatings. The coatings consist principally of pigments and other additives bonded by resins and can be lubricated to give controlled torque clamping force properties when required (see for example BS 7371: Part 2: 1993).
