Linkwood is another of the distilleries whose spirit is too important for blended Scotch for their owners to waste time marketing it as a single malt

a previously unusual occurrence given that most of the the distillery's output goes straight into owner Diageo's blends

but sadly this particular expression was discontinued in 2013

This finish is likely to give the whisky a lovely hint of sweetness and fruit to balance this perfectly

so the Mortlach distillery character will be fully on display
