The medium-bodied palate has firm grip

making it very aromatic

white pepper and cloves

and then it opens like a butterfly

but it holds it remarkably well

with more clay than in the sites for the single-vineyard Chardonnays

More direct

Mid crimson purple

It's quite dense toward the finish and just needs a little more amplitude
