The Witch’s Daughter | Victorian Hand Painted Plate
Description
The Witch’s Daughter | Victorian Hand Painted PlateA one of a kind find: This Victorian plate is hand painted with a woman & owl on a crescent moon, after Frederick Stuart Churchs painting The Witchs Daughter, 1881. The plate is signed & dated on the back Eleanor Lake MacCollum, 1889. Looks like she was just a regular ghoul like us, but I found her grave: Shes buried at my beloved Green Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn.
Refer to photos for size & condition: Very good with some rust on the back
both 19th century pieces
it seemed like something one of my followers would love
Refer to photos for size and condition: Some minor soiling
One of two available
late 19th century silverplated mug with a wonderful passionflower motif
It’s a very pretty thing with a deeply recessed center you might be able to fill with flowers
midcentury nun doll with a composition head and a cream colored habit
I think it is an alloy of some sort: It does not have the same color or texture as cast iron
Antique print of the penitent Mary Magdalene weeping from 1900-1910s
a Victorian symbol that represents a life cut short
Use it as a jewelry dish
