Distinguished Conduct Medal GVI MiniatureAround 1900 awards of the DCM were made during World War Two with nine recipeints receiving a bar. As with the First World War, awards were made to foreign nationals and in the main these were issued un named, all awards to UK troops were awarded with impressed naming although some awards made for the Far East were engraved locally.

The Burma Star was awarded to British and Commonwealth forces who served in the Burma campaign between 11 December 1941 and 2 September 1945
