River RunThe iconic Castle Mountain boundary peak dominates the background of this painting I did this season on the Stikine River. I tried to capture that exhilarating sensation of heading upstream on a day of fun and adventure on this vast and beautiful river. I had this topo of the area in the boat so I used it for the geographical reference of the region as a backdrop. I hope this image brings back memories of grand adventures and skiff hair and all.
