Description

Philodendron squamiferumThis special species is native to several parts of South America. As it matures it will develop more distinct lobes and can resemble more of an oak leaf in shape. The real intrigue with this plant is the stem and petioles are completely covered in hairs, also known as pubescence. New pubescence will be bright red! A true weirdo! Care: These would be happiest in a bright filtered light and taking care to avoid direct sun. As with most aroids, water

They will  naturally shift their foliage orientation towards the strongest source of light

and that is where it gets it's nickname from

but will completely die back during their winter dormancy

If you put these in direct sun or outside they will turn a bright red

Begonia brevirimosa is native to Papua New Guinea

We recommend keeping these in strictly filtered light out of direct sun

This will usually be when all of the leaves fall off

Good for indoor and outdoors

Named the "Bird of Paradise" for the incredibly unique flower that looks like an exotic bird

This variety will grow as more of a bush rather than a vine until it is very mature

Aka “Penis or PeePee Cactus” this Bolivian high desert native cacti is a rather odd and off putting variety

They're native to wetter parts of Guatemala and Columbia
